Armor for warriors include: Bronze, Iron, Khazard, Steel, Black, Mithril (or mith for short), Temple Initiate Armor, Adamant, Proselyte Armor, Rune, Granite, Dragon, Crystal, Barrows, and Lunar.

Armor for Mages: Elemental, Splitbark, Mystical Robes, and Ghost robes.

Armor for Rangers: Leather, Hardened Leather, Studded Leather, Snakeskin Armor, Green Dragonhide, Blue Dragonhide, and Black Dragonhide.

Some decorative armor’s are: Golden Helmet. Spiny Helmet, Bearhead, Desert Disguise, Chompy Hats, Pirate Hats, Highwayman Masks, Cavaliers, Berets & Headbands, Bunny Ears, Halloween Masks, Party Hats, Santa Hats, Chef’s Hats, and Eye Patches.

These are just some examples of the many different armors out in the huge world of runescape. Runescape has many different types of armor to offer. For members, the selection is ever growing. When every new item comes out, they are cheap. But as in real life, if you will get it and hold it for awhile, it will eventually be worth a lot of money, especially if it is not circulated as much, and its a one time get.

Your First Lesson

Begin by finding a Man or Woman and right-clicking him or her. Choose the Pickpocket Man option, and you will try and steal from him. If you’re quick enough, you will pocket a few coins, but if he catches you trying to steal from him you will get hit and stunned for several seconds.

Depending on the character you steal from, you could get different amounts of coins, or even various items such as Runes or weapons. However, the higher the level required to pickpocket them, the harder it will be to steal from them, and the chance of getting caught will be greater.

Looting Market Stalls

Stealing from the various market stalls in Ardougne, Ape Atoll, Rellekka, Etceteria and Micellania is one of the best aspects of thieving. You can steal anything from delicious cakes and pies, to shiny pieces of silver and valuable emeralds and rubies. Of course, the marketplace is heavily guarded by the stall owner, guards and knights. If the stall owner catches you, he will call over the guards and they will attack you!

How to Steal

When a stall has loot in it, you will see exactly what you can steal. To steal from a stall, you can either just click “Steal From Market Stall,” or you can right-click to bring up a menu of options. Even if you see a group of people stealing from a stall, you have a good chance of looting it as long as you click fast enough. Everyone has a chance to loot the stall at the same time!

Stealing from a stall may sound easy, and on a good day it is, but those pesky guards are always on the lookout. It’s best to hide behind the stalls, on the side facing away from the guards. Since they can’t see what’s happening on the other side of the stall, you’re safe… except for the Knights. You just have to watch for them, and as they approach you, stop thieving.

Unlocking Doors

Sometimes you may come across a locked door inside of a building. Of course, a key would be helpful but what if there isn’t one that belongs to the door? Well, that’s when you use your thieving skill to pick the lock and get inside, and to a good thief it’s a cinch to get in.

To attempt to pick the lock of a door, just right-click it and select “Pick Lock Door.” If you have enough experience at thieving you will open the door and enter inside.Once a door has been opened, you don’t have to pick the lock again to leave. Remember though, that you’ll need to pick the lock again to go back inside after you leave.

A Lockpick can be of great use to any thief. You can steal them from Rogues, and they allow you to open doors that would normally require a higher thieving level. By picking a lock with it in your backpack, you may have an easier time opening doors as well. You may also need to have a Lockpick in order to open some doors.

Disarming Traps

Not only does your thieving skill give you the ability to steal things, but it also allows you to disarm a trap on a staircase or treasure chest. A trap could poison you, teleport you, or cause other damage, but by disarming the trap you can easily access the treasure in the chest, or walk up the stairs.

To disarm a trap on a treasure chest, you need to right-click it and choose “Search for Traps Chest.” To disable a trap on a staircase, select “Investigate Stairs” to find the trap. Be careful, because the trap will be reset later on.

After you search a treasure chest for a trap, you will open it up and look for any treasure. Some chests contain coins, while other may have Runes or other items inside.

The Newcomers Starting Guide for RuneScape

When you create a runescape account please read this guide before start playing it. When you start runescape you will be asked to select your avitar. That avitar doesn’t have to be exactly what you look like in fact try to make it look like what you love it to.

If you click ok when you are not ready, don’t worry as you can change it later for 500 coins in Varrock. Varrock is north of Lumbridge where you will start your exiciting adventure. Now then exit through the door in the room you are when you click ok from the avitar interface and you are in tutorial island.

After that follow the path until you reach the survival tutor and then talk to her. She will give you a bronze hatchet, tinder box and a small net. Then click on a tree to cut it, use a tinder box to a log to light it and click on a fishing spot to catch fish. At this stage you will train your firemaking, woodcutting and fishing. Try to get all the skills to level 3 so that it makes it easier when you are off tutorial island.

Then you will go to the cooking tutor and he’ll teach you how to cook plus remember to get a lot of food as you will need it later. After that continue along the path and go down the ladder and head towards the mine. There talk to the person in charge and he will give you a bronze pickaxe and tell you to mine. Also try to get all these levels to level 3. After that, you will go to to combat tutor where he will show you how to use weapons and how to range. He will give you a shield, sword, bow and arrows. Now here is when the extre bread you made earlier come useful.

Head in and kill the giant rats with melee and as you attack you will lose your hitpoints. The bread will restore your hitpoints by 5. When you are done killing, go out as you came in and the tutor will tell you to now range at the rats. Also please try to get all these to level 3 as they will help a lot when you are off tutorial island. When you are done go to the mage tutor and she will give you runes to mage on the chickens in the cage.

After you’ve done all that, go and talk to her and say that you want to go to the real world and she will teleport you there and give you supplies. And you are off and going. Good luck!

Regardless to what you may have read online, there are no “get rich quick” methods in Runescape. Jagex (the creators of Runescape) have taken measures to prevent this. In the end, there is no fun in being rich without anything to show for it.

Runescape is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). It has thousands of players with a wide variety of tasks and quests to complete. This article with explain how to keep a profitable mindset, no matter where your adventure takes you.

You can, however, maximize your profits while you train your skills and embark on new adventures. Here are three things to keep in mind while playing Runescape.

Progression

Each method of obtaining wealth has it’s own “Progression”. Progression is the passing of one aspect of an element to the next. The progression of each method is parallel to the level in that particular skill.

Here’s an example: In woodcutting, you start by cutting regular trees with a Bronze or Iron Hatchet. Once you reach level 6, you can use a Steel Hatchet, which increases performance. At level 15, you can begin cutting down Oak trees for more Experience Points. This Progression goes all the way until you can wield the Dragon Hatchet (lvl 61) and cut the Cursed Magic Tree (lvl 82)

Note that this is not a guide for woodcutting. This was an example of Progression. Taking advantage of a skill’s Progression allows you to save a lot of time and money. Members (Pay to Play ? P2P) have more options that Free Players (F2P). This allows them to take further advantage of Progression.

Profits

“In order to make money you have to spend money.” This couldn’t be more true, even in the world of Runescape. The key is to make more money than you spend. This is known as making a Profit. Some skills are more profitable than others. Prayer, for example, is probably the least profitable skill. In order to level up, you have to obtain or buy bones to bury. In contrast, you can sell the logs you obtain from woodcutting. It’s up to you to determine which skill you find to be the most profitable. Each skill becomes more profitable as you progress.

Planning

Not many players focus on a single skill. It’s important to plan ahead when you decide to level up. Having level 99 in Mining and Firemaking would not be as profitable as having level 99 in Mining and Smithing. You see, certain skills have connections that can increase the amount you make. You could make much more selling a full set of Rune Armor than just selling the ores to make it. Try to plan out which skills go well together before you start to increase them.
